Many years ago, on
a trip to Arizona, Barbara Holm,
owner of High Country Rustics, was introduced to Native American and Southwest
art. When she saw the incredibly beautiful handcrafts that were made using
traditional methods, her passion was lit--and has grown more intense ever since.

Over the years she has learned more about the 'high
country" lifestyle and has grown her collection. Her interests have expanded to
incorporate the mountain cultures of Colorado and Wyoming. She has a passion and
kinship with the Western, Southwestern and Mountain regions and has been able to
express this through the the creations that adorn her home. High Country Rustics
is the natural extension of this passion and has been founded so that others may
share in this lifestyle.
Joining with Barbara in
the barn is Tasha Rotter and her business, Country Nik Naks and Treasures. This
union has expanded their offerings into the area of handmade country
accessories, antiques and collectibles. Tasha brings with her the experience of
operating booths in various local antique malls. Her
flair for country decorating is evident in the warm and comfortable atmosphere
she has brought to the barn.
